At the University of Salford, we have a PGR peer support group developed by students, run by students and for students!!!

We act as a friendship/support group for Ph.D students and early career researchers.

We also volunteer our time to provide peer-to-peer feedback on written work and avail ourselves to host mock vivas for fellow members who are facing their IA, IE or vivas. Mock vivas are only a safe place to practice for colleagues who may find this useful to boost confidence.

We plan on holding monthly virtual meetings to allow the community of research students and early career researchers, come together, share wisdom learn from each other and also, learn from senior colleagues as well.
