@CartoonBouldy Especially if they consider outgoings might be loans with obligations for next season. And deal structures. It’s the only thing that makes sense because as you and others have said, this deal, even if we paid it all up front shouldn’t really cause financial issues.
@CartoonBouldy I wonder if it’s because they don’t expect this to be the last one and need powder dry for that one. Outgoing cash on Raya, Califiori, and Merino. Maybe need some for the final big one.
@scottjwillis The one player at the euros I consistently came away impressed with. The same feelings I had about Kudus during the World Cup. Hope this one happens as that one obviously didn’t work out.
@CartoonBouldy This is as accurate a take as I’ve read. Literally saying the same thing in my head during that first half. Between your keeper kicking it away towards a forward who can’t move, this team could be insanely good for an international team with just like 1-2 tweaks.
@pulsfordb13 I’m just not sure why the attacker has to get out of the way. I disagree he made himself bigger (Neuer did that) so I’m left wondering, if that isn’t a penalty, then do we have to change the definition of what is one?
@billycarpy Would he be a good Gudogan like midfield option for us? Technically adept, covers multiple roles, solid at everything, intelligent, experienced influence?
@CartoonBouldy Thank you for saying it. Honestly the kid does a ton of work and doesn’t get the same support that Saka does on his side. Feel like people are really hard on him.
@YankeeGunner I’m no expert or referee but I wonder what that looked like from Hooper’s perspective. Three Tottenham players around 1 city player. May not have looked like much of an advantage. We have the benefit of seeing it from a camera a hundred feet up. Also…haha
