A few drone lidar surveys from the last week. The detail and accuracy of the DJI L3 is a game changer, particularly when collecting on stubble or in rem vegetation and forestry areas. Look at the powerline and shed roof detail!

@drage_farms Hi Amery sorry a bit off topic but I noticed online that you run an M400 as I do with L3 Lidar. Just wondering which way you went on multispectral payload just looking at options and wondering how you got on. Tried to message you but as a follower X wouldn't allow.

I'm collecting multispectral and height data via drone with survey grade lidar and photogrammetry mainly in the DJI ecosystem. What is everyone using for processing and conversion to prescription maps Terra, Agisoft Meta shape or Pix 4d. Chasing more efficient work flows.

@k_bolto @EcfEnterprises I would expect that to be the case Keith , it's a bit like a swarmbot they will really shine in VR/green on brown prescription or LV applications, and less so on broad scale high water rates. Will let you know some production numbers when Stu has run some larger scale trials.

Just commissioned a new DJI T100 Agras with DJI agent Stuart from @EcfEnterprises. A pretty amazing bit of kit, with a 100 litre spray tank and a (TOW) of around 175kg, they are now big enough to be a productive broad acre tool, as well as easy to set up and fly.

@k_bolto @EcfEnterprises Should be very productive in LV application for RLEM, snail bating etc as the can run at 50-70 km/h @ 10-12m swath width.

@k_bolto @EcfEnterprises Hi Keith, they are around 45k GSTinc, which includes a fast charger and 3 batteries. You would probably require a batching set up with a battery charge/change station to get maximum efficiency. We are going to run some trials at30l/ha and work out how many battery swaps per hour

@nig_michael My parents picked up the HECS debt and I worked to pay for living expenses but had a gap year which helped. Straight from school to uni, 10k per year which can be accounted as debt in a succession plan would be fair. It depends what the degree is in terms of contact hours

@ipaddockapps Good concept you might have to add it to the ipaddock software suite. Alibaba does have that sort of functionality on new items from memory.

Just wondering about price and availability of deep rippers for dry hire in the central wheatbelt. Looking at machines with a non inversive shank profile such as Nufab, TTQ and Agroplow. Enquiring on behalf of a non X(Agtwitter) user. TIA.
