Everyone at Norwich City is deeply saddened by the passing of our honorary life president, Michael Wynn Jones.
Michael died peacefully at home on Monday morning, aged 85. He will be greatly missed.
His family are grateful for the wonderful care provided by the community nursing team at St Elizabeth Hospice.
Our deepest condolences are with Delia and Tom, and with all of Michaelโs family, friends and loved ones.
At the familyโs request, we ask that their privacy be respected at this difficult time.

Cherki turning up expecting a perfectly watered carpet and finding a pitch that looks like it hosted a fucking agricultural show that morning.
Doku discovering that Championship fullbacks donโt โshow you outsideโ they show you the fucking car park.
Anderson asking the analyst about expected possession while Millwallโs manager is drawing โFUCKING WIN ITโ on the tactics board.
Foden arriving for a 12:30 away game and watching some bloke behind the goal finish his sixth pint before warm ups.
Maresca trying to explain inverted full backs to a fourth official whoโs just told him to stop fucking moaning and get back in his technical area.
He was very complimentary about you Rio. And quite right too. One of our best - very best. Thanks for the good wishes. Speak soon perhaps? It would be good to have you on. I hope youโre keeping well you โeggโ. Do you remember? Me and Shreevsey had you on toast. ๐๐.
