@benisrood@MarathonTheGame One thing that i love about Marathon it´s the lore, to unlock the audio logs, now i have the codec with that reward but i have to start ALL OVER AGAIN. That is, if you left Traxus at level 20, now you have to grind it for second time. So the 3rd season will be the same?
@giancar73012035 Come on Giancarlo, if you think this well, it’s a good idea bring mancos to the game. It doesn’t matter at the end if your teammates are apestosos and malos. What matters here is that Marathon keep bringing players.
@Quattr0baj33na@PaulTassi Good point, no objection, you're right. But in this case, what are your thoughts on the decline in players since launch? Why did people leave the game?
@Quattr0baj33na@PaulTassi You're right, but aside from Cryo, what else keeps the community engaged? As has already been said: I love Marathon, but I'm stuck on the loading screen for almost 4 or 5 minutes just to get into a match. The numbers don't add up.
SNB: Saturday Night BF
@Alektric@PaulTassi Don't get me wrong, I LOVE MARATHON, but something's definitely going on, isn't it? Beyond the Steam stats, there must be a reason why people are quitting the game. I think it's a retention issue.
@Quattr0baj33na@PaulTassi Apex has the "collection event" between seasons and limited time modes. Arc Raiders has "community events" between seasons too. In fact, in the first 3 months, Arc did 2 differents events (unlock Stella Montis, and Flickering Flames), Battlefield has SNB and Portal Sessions.
@Alektric@PaulTassi You're right Alek, but that's not how things work right now. Games as a service work because they need to retain players to make money. I understand your point, and it's true. But they need to motivate people to keep playing Marathon, and that's not the case right now.
