I gave 10 years of my life to something I truly believed in.
Not casually.
Not half committed.
I mean fully invested mentally, emotionally, financially.
For a long time, I believed that if I stayed consistent long enough,
everything would eventually work out.
Calls stopped. Messages became rare. Presence turned into silence.
And that silence forces you to see things clearly.
You realize that some people were never there for you…
they were there for the version of you that was doing well.
That realization stays with you.
The hardest part of going thru a difficult season is not always the situation itself.
It’s what you learn about people.
When everything was going well, support was easy to find.
Conversations were frequent. Energy was mutual.
But when things slowed down. so did the people.
But reality doesn’t always reward effort the way we expect.
And one day, I had to face a truth I wasn’t ready for:
Sometimes what you love… doesn’t take you where you need to go.
Nobody prepares you for what comes after that.
This is that part.
I gave 10 years of my life to something I truly believed in.
Not casually.
Not half committed.
I mean fully invested mentally, emotionally, financially.
For a long time, I believed that if I stayed consistent long enough,
everything would eventually work out.
