I’m not sure why, but I *cannot* get over this dog cloning article written by @DogUmwelt and published by @NewYorker.
It hits so many points of critique – from the psychological, biological, existential, and ethical. Immersive, chilling read.

I gratefully attended a talk based on Carter’s policy work and service. He starts by reminding you he is, first and foremost, a “scientist” in the sense that he is simply a human who seeks answers by asking many questions. I never forgot that.
Sad to hear about his passing.
RIP Ash Carter, a scientist who rose to become Obama's last defense secretary at a time of deep international challenges. @risenc https://t.co/OrRlgxUncV

@designingh2o Omggg. I shamelessly use a BlenderBottle. It’s a workout to get that foam, of which dissipates after maybe fifteen minutes. It’s a combo of too cheap to get a frother and a gym pass.
An announcer at the flight gate to Rome just *stared* down a group of passengers from the end of the terminal - kilometers away - beelining towards her and said, verbatim: “Gate B08 leaving for Rome is closing now - RUN!” 🏃♂️🏃🏃♀️
Driving on the highway rn and saw fireworks from diff cities/towns. One was near the interstate, so I instantly had to pull over to enjoy the show. The best part was that I wasn’t the only one: dozens of other 🚙 parked on the shoulder with their E lights on doing the same thing.
@YouSoFancy@leeloowrites Ahh you’re speaking my language. +1 to all of the above. I’d add Prismacolor Turquoise graphite drawing pencils, in HB and Bs.

@designingh2o **Not India’s, haha. They are mice I found abandoned under my car and I didn’t have the heart to just leave them scattered on the asphalt in the heat without a mom.🥺 I’m going to have to get syringes and formula to feed them since none of the wildlife rehab’ers got back to me.
