yall talking about byler meanwhile hopper has BEEN trying to kill himself with a bomb, and here we are, the plan is to throw a bomb into the matter so i’m stressed the fuck OUT

he felt like he lost that when he was taken. in s4, we never see him play dnd at all. now here we are in s5 with him being able to recognize his trauma and use it to grow stronger . it’s almost as if he’s a kid again, being a sorcerer. it’s still beautiful

i always felt like the baby miwi sequence was more about him recognizing the inner child within him that he had lost before his trauma. mike made him feel safe, so of course he was in it but so was his mom and brother. in s3 all he wants is to play dnd and be like a kid again
