@magnushambleton@FIREtokig Worked in the Norwegian monopol for years. Had to ask if I even had the slightest doubt the person was under 25, even if he was only buying a beer. Missing a control could cause big trouble for the store.

I want to address something I have witnessed in some parts of the community: people fear that we neglect IOTA.
I understand why it might look that way from the outside, especially if you compare what we are doing now with how this space used to operate.
What has actually changed is the environment around us and if you have been here for a while, I am sure you can feel it too.
The dynamics that carried large parts of crypto over the past years are not working in the same way anymore and pretending otherwise would be the real mistake.
In 2018, you could go through a bear market by waiting for the next wave of retail attention and liquidity to come back into the market. Today, that approach feels disconnected from reality.
Attention has shifted, many of the early builders have either stepped back or moved on and the broader macro environment is not creating the same tailwinds that once lifted almost everything at the same time.
If a project does not create real value now, there is no guarantee that “the next cycle” will fix that.
That is exactly why our focus has changed. We are not pulling away from IOTA, we are taking it seriously enough to build something that can stand on its own, without depending on market cycles or short-term narratives to justify its existence.
That means focusing on what is harder and less immediately visible, but ultimately the only thing that lasts: real products used by real customers, generating real and sustainable cash flow.
We want TWIN on IOTA to become the default infrastructure for digital global trade. This path is slower, it is more demanding and it requires a different kind of discipline, but it is the only path that gives us a role that still matters 10 years from now.
We are excited to announce that the IOTA Distributed Oracle, a fully decentralized, consensus-driven oracle network, is now available for testing on the IOTA Testnet.
