[🐉 saga @phantomcerberus]

trying not to have an uber meltdown bc this book this story the targaryens as a whole are my special interest and i know i KNOW it’s just a show it’s fine but they’ve completely tanked everything and im genuinely very upset about it someone slap me and tell me to calm down

[🐉 saga @phantomcerberus]

[🐉 saga @phantomcerberus]

the targaryen lore is so deep and beautiful and tragic and intertwined on its own i understand look i get that this show is a “new lore” but jesus christ

[🐉 saga @phantomcerberus]

what even is this show about anymore

[🐉 saga @phantomcerberus]

i thought this was one of the most compelling scenes and dialogues in the entire season so far. larys telling aegon to keep his mind right. expressing his own vulnerability while aegon himself is at his most vulnerable.

fuck. FINALLY some good fucking WRITING.

[🐉 saga @phantomcerberus]

oh it’s raining alright

[🐉 saga @phantomcerberus]

he’s had high blood pressure since birth

[🐉 saga @phantomcerberus]

jacaerys “be so fuckin fr right now” velaryon

[🐉 saga @phantomcerberus]

anyway. raising the banners. i stand with my canceled pairing.

[🐉 saga @phantomcerberus]

like. come on now.

[🐉 saga @phantomcerberus]

even in the brief moments before battle, aegon’s writing was inconsistent. why would a dragon with a clueless, incompetent rider react that way to seeing him? sunfyre was beyond thrilled to see aegon, to be able to fly with him. and then suddenly aegon’s a trash rider?

[eli @syleouch]

TOM GLYNN CARNEY I WILL AVENGE YOU OH MY GOD FOR YOUR SKILLS PORTRAYING AEGON YOU NEED TO BE IN WRITER'S ROOM IDC! "everyone else just looks so fucking cool, and then you get aegon, who's clueless" 💔

[🐉 saga @phantomcerberus]

he’s been a rider since he was 13 and canonically, he and sunfyre have an incredibly deep bond. AND they mention his control and skills in regard to riding in s1. i understand the whole “the show is a new canon” fine, okay. but that doesn’t excuse the fact that it’s INCONSISTENT

[vic 🦇 @aegonism]

SUNFYRE’S LITTLE SCREAMS OH GOD

[🐉 saga @phantomcerberus]
