Starmer does not want to shut down X to protect your children. He wants to shut it down to protect himself and @elonmusk is the only reason he cannot.
Child safety. AI images. Misinformation. All lies.
They cannot control X. That is the only reason it needs to be shut down. Here is the unit they use to control everything else.
The UK government has a secret unit called RICU. It sits inside the Home Office. It employs psychologists, marketing experts and former intelligence officers.
Its job is to control what you think after a terror attack or migrant attack happens.
After Manchester. After Southport. After every major attack on British soil. RICU decides the narrative. What gets amplified. What gets buried. What communities are told to say publicly.
After Manchester they pushed "Don't Look Back In Anger" across every platform and every news outlet. Grieving parents were pointed toward that message. The anger was managed. The questions were buried.
RICU classifies believing that Western culture is under threat from mass immigration as a right wing extremist narrative to be shut down.
A government unit. Paid for by you. Deciding which of your thoughts are acceptable.
For years it worked. They controlled the newspapers. They controlled the BBC. They controlled the aftermath of every attack before you even knew what had happened and after Southport the Home Office admitted it in Parliament. They worked directly with social media platforms to remove content they decided you should not see. Not illegal content. Content that did not fit the narrative. Gone.
Then came X.
The video of Stephen Ogilvie's attack in Belfast was on X before RICU could get anywhere near it. The truth about Southport spread on X before the managed narrative was ready. The Burnley stabbing. The Scotland assault. The one week list.
All of it on X. Unmanaged. Uncontrolled. Real.
That is why he wants to shut it down.
Not your children. You. That is why free speech in Britain depends on X.
For anyone who doesn’t watch football:
The guy on top was given a red card for pulling his opponents hair (not even looking)
The guy at the bottom got off Scott free, staring at his opponents heart as he pulled it
The referee was the same in both games, less than a week apart.
British fighter jets flying over Cyprus, by far the most outstanding camera work I have ever seen. If carlsberg made cameraman he would probably be the best cameraman in the world
Today this idiot tried to convince 68 million people that handing him £200 and getting £100 given back makes you £100 better off than when you first met him.
VAR conveniently resurrecting the 5cm tolerance rule to gift Liverpool a blatant offside goal - just like they did vs Fulham - while it mysteriously vanished for Casemiro's goal vs West Ham.
Harry Maguire was 'impacting play' from offside without even touching the ball vs Fulham, but Hugo Ekitike's clear interference in Liverpool's winner? Total blind eye, so it's offside depending on the club?
Football's a farce when the rules bend for the darlings.
🚨Breaking🚨
The government has ignored our petition of 140,000 people calling for a halt to the puberty blockers trial.
The response is empty rhetoric.
If they won’t safeguarding children voluntarily, we will force them to.
Watch this space. This week will be interesting…
Follow Up Fulham Protest ✊
Thank you to the thousands of fans who turned out before the Fulham game. Your presence mattered. It showed that fan culture at this club is still alive and still prepared to stand up when it is directly attacked. This action gained national and worldwide media coverage.
Protests matter culturally and on an emotional level. They let the club and ownership know that we are watching. That we are not going away and that we are not fucking happy.
This protest was about ticket prices, access, atmosphere and supporter culture. It was about the systematic removal of ordinary fans so football can be sanitised, globalised and sold back to us at ever increasing prices. This is not accidental. It is a choice being made by those who see football as a product rather than a community.
Protests are not and never have been a silver bullet. They require dedication, commitment and an unyielding belief.
Old Trafford 🏟️
Old Trafford is our home. Not a commodity. Not a branding exercise. Not a development opportunity. It is the last physical link many supporters have to this club, alongside terrace traditions handed down through families and generations.
Ticketing & Fan Culture 🎟️
We will continue to stand for fan culture and for affordable football for this generation, the next generation and those yet to be born. Football without supporters is nothing.
Responsible Ownership ⚖️
We want responsible ownership. Let there be no ambiguity. Not the Glazers. Not INEOS. Neither represent responsibility, accountability or respect for Manchester United or its supporters. Protests have never been about results, managers or signings. They weren’t in 2005. They weren’t in 2010. They never have been since. We will support this club and this team no matter what happens on the pitch. That support is unconditional. Our opposition to ownership that harms the club is not.
To those who mock, to those who sneer and to those who laugh while doing fuck all, it says more about the type of person you are than anything else. To those who seem obsessed by us (probably bots or idiots) but have been blocked by our automation, seriously get a fucking life. To the too cool for school crowd distracted by a couple of decent results and thinking this doesn’t affect you, it will. Ask yourselves where this road leads.
You will not be laughing when tickets cost £100 to £150 per game. You will not be laughing when you are sat in a soulless bowl stripped of identity and filled with Americanised bollocks. You will not be laughing when families can’t be introduced to our club. Everything that once made our club and English football the envy of the world is being hollowed out for profit.
We do not do this for recognition. We monetise nothing. We gain nothing. There is no hidden agenda. This is purely about love for our club and for those who passed it on to us in the right way.
That is our only motivation.
Family.
Club.
Community.
The 1958 🇾🇪
"Jim Ratcliffe told us he wanted to put the Manchester back in Man Utd. He's taking it out." 🗣️
Man Utd fans were out in full force to support The 1958's protest against the club's ownership 🔴
Re. ”20 years of theft and lies”
I don’t think mainstream journalists and media covering this team, like say a @henrywinter, understand the 👉 ”AND LIES” 👈 part.
This is not to criticize anyone, it is probably normal to not pay attention to it. It sounds like something fans throw in there, which they other side would argue that there is a lot of context too.
Just a few examples:
🔺Incorrect information about FFP situation: Since The Athletic broke the news that MUFC submits the accounts from Red Football Ltd and not the listed parent for FFP review, we know for a fact that MUFC never have had any real concerns with PSR/UEFA FFP rules (at least if we exclude COVID tainted 21/22 season).
Yet, we have numerous examples of managers sitting there at the podium reporting that the internal message he gets is that the club can’t do something due to FFP.
🔺Lies about paying fantasy wages: It is an indisputable fact that MUFC’s players wage bill has not been higher than 4th since 2017 and never higher than 3rd since 2013 — and most season it as been miles of the clubs that pays the highest wages. We just need to read public annual reports from all clubs available at the Companies House.
Yet — surely to make it seem like the owners are supporting the club more than they have — fans and media have been led to believe that MUFC have paid high wages.
🔺Constant BS about transfer activity: You can almost set the clock based on certain type of leaks from the club. Others know these strategies better than me — but start to talk about protests and the club will leak that it’s linked to a big signing. Etc etc etc. In reality, under the Glazers, we spent nothing if we qualified for the CL and spent when we missed it...
At a specific point of time, this might sound like normal PR strategies in complex situations. But year in and year out for 20 years shows you something else. It shows a truly disgusting behavior.
