@runescimmy20kea@Cr4zYAiM Wasnt a fan on how the cutscenes were pre rendered, Like they looked great but it felt like it did something weird with the pacing especially the ones in the middle of the mission.
The aesthetic of Japan is cool. The media create is fun because in the United States it was considered niche. The food is pretty amazing and so is the beer. I know sushi is common in Japan but its a fun experience.
I'm not enthusiastic about the work culture. The experience of going through the education system looks really stressful and miserable.
In america individualism is encouraged so that's a big difference.
@Kamige_studio thats true, and weil was hype as fuck but omega was a trip and the model O fight in the sequel theme is a 11/10, hype as fuck, lived in my head rent free
Im in my 30s now so when I first started reading manga when I was a school student, reading online was the only way to experience manga manga that wasn't popular like dragonball and one piece. Maybe for me its a habit because of years of not having it available.
One thing to clarify. We typically dont pay for pirated manga. There was no one here making counterfeited books. In my example thats why as an adult I pay for these things when I can especially doujins when I see them in stores.
The culture of manga has significantly improved in the west since years ago so its more available now than before. I was just raised in a time where manga is niche and theres this whole world of stories to experience if you just took the time to look for it on the internet.
Morally pirated content is wrong and I agree with it. But how we got to experience the stories written by authors from japan and were introduced by its existence was by word of mouth from friends which would include those online sites that would host manga. That in turn made us fans of the work and if after that we chose to support the creator by buying merchandise and such.
I've always understood that manga is made for the enjoyment of the Japanese. And if people outside of Japan enjoy it inspite of that, that's a good thing. Manga and anime was really niche here about 20 years ago and due to cultural differences it would often be viewed as weird.
I wouldn't want the content of manga to change for people overseas, enjoying it as is and what it represents is appealing for a lot of us.
Congratulations, that dungeon is the proverbial cherry on top of what's an exquisite experience of an expansion. I know I read you're not a mmo person and typically neither am I. I know class enjoyment varies from person to person but speaking as someone whose not a mmo enjoyer, tank classes are fun because it forces you to engage bosses like you're the main character and because of their health it's a little more forgiving if you get hit or mess up during big fights.
@Dank_Deku_Tree@ryorekuiemu As you should have, that was really brutal. I was able to enjoy the game as it was on release but it felt like a coin flip wether or not something buggy or game breaking was going to occur.
@onikue28@jikkenj0 I'm not saying piracy is good I'm just making the point that when a game goes on sale it's not running as much of a loss as it seems
@ryorekuiemu I understand your point, but I'll say this, GTA 6 is about to release soon here and no doubt there's going to be a pirate version floating around. I'm willing to bet that it will be the highest selling piece of media despite the pirates. It's probably going to be that negligable
They may end up running at a loss, but games on sale are typically more advertised or even experience an increase in popularity. Steam sales are often jokes about because people will spend money on games despite having a long list of games they bought before that haven't been played.
@jikkenj0@JackBircht This is true when it comes to music if I'm understanding what twitters translation is telling me. If you have a chance, an example to look is Gundam Musou (dynasty warriors Gundam). There is not one ounce of the music that was from the Japanese version of the game.
Thank you this is in my opinion closer to the truth than not. I was starting to believe the discussion was futile because regardless of what is said on our side of the isle the verbal attacks and outrage was constant. There are instances where posts like yours made me feel otherwise. However the fact that it's been a week of this discussion and it seems like an understanding wasn't reached was depressing.
Sorry if the message is translated inaccurately.
