@LL_929 I once had a group of gnome bandits known as Bouncing Betty's Brigade. They would hide in the tall grass in kangeroo pouches and when the larty walkes through, the kangeroos would jump above them so the gnomes could fire wildly above them with crossbows.

@Warlockdnd Depends on the character. When I fall into this trap, I usually have the funny personality be a coping mechanism. So when parts of their traumatic backstory are thrown in my face, it leads to instant angsty brooding and more serious character expression.
