Thank you to everyone who saw this post. Buddy is scheduled to be put to rest in a few hours, as his cognitive functions began rapidly declining after this vet appointment. I'm just glad I was able to have a little more time with him.

I laid another cat to rest in May of 2025, and I'm at least happy that the two of them will finally have each other because Patchi was infatuated with Buddy 🥺 rip my soot sprite and chubchub.

Though I'm sad that I cannot give him a true final meal of steak and rotisserie chicken. I did this for his initial vet appointment in August as a precautionary. I wish I could do it again, but I have no time as a last minute appointment was scheduled at an emergency clinic.
