As Nigeria takes centre stage in World Heart Day 2026, the country is gearing up for a series of national activations in partnership with the World Heart Federation (WHF).

The Lagos HeArt Fair is one of these major national activations, led by The Congenital Heart Disease Foundation of Nigeria (CHDFNigeria) and its consortium partners, in collaboration with the World Heart Federation team.

We’re preparing to welcome and care for up to 2,000 Lagosians for a vibrant day bringing heart health, prevention, movement, lifesaving skills and community together.

Expect:

🩺 Know your numbers and learn more about your heart
🫶🏾 Basic Life Support training — skills that can save a life
🏃🏾‍♀️ Movement and wellness activities
🎶 Music, entertainment and family fun

This is more than a fair.

It is an opportunity to bring the global World Heart Day movement closer to communities in Lagos , creating a space where people can learn, get screened, move, connect and gain skills that can save a life.
