My daughter works at a gas station. Night shift. Pays her college tuition. She called me crying last Tuesday. Said a woman came in at 2 AM. Three kids asleep in her car. Counted change for gas. $4.18. Asked how far that would get her. My daughter said she was running. You could see it. The fear. The bruises. My daughter filled her tank. Gave her $30 from the register. Her own money. Said the woman grabbed her hands and just cried. My daughter’s 19. Works minimum wage.
I saw a woman with PMOS sharing that her partner learned everything about PCOS just to support her. Cooked anti-inflammatory meals for her. Never questioned her fatigue. Reminded her constantly to take her inositol, magnesium and keep her Briom PCOS streak. Now she's symptoms free with one child and holding things down while he's studying engineering. The right person will never make you feel like a burden.

I’ve seen more teenaged girls in the news lately for defending children from pedos than any other demographic lately. I think the girls are just finally fed the fuck up
Women are sharing live locations, checking the backseats of cars, carrying their keys between their knuckles and holding their hands over their drinks.
Men are doing 3 hour podcasts about how unfair it is that women don't smile at them.
The audacity of chasing her in front of the cops… This is what I mean when I say some men are absolutely certain they’ll get away with assaulting a woman.
I grew up with a single mom on section 8 and food stamps. My entire life I’ve tried telling people these assistance programs are made to keep poor people poor.
