I just don't argue over the internet with strangers. Our difference of opinions and the interpretation of the law is why we are tried by a jury. I never said you wasn't right about the possible charges for him. But if you look into other replies of mine I have answered your thought process many times. The window is a barrier, of protection in the courts eyes. She then removed that barrier to use a level of force. It's a hard thing to convince a jury you were afraid for your life, inside of a locked box with no broken or damaged entryway for someone to cause harm. By removing the barrier yourself that is keeping you safe and then you use force you become the aggressor

I never said she didn't have a self defense. Case. What you fail to realize is the force has to be reasonable and necessary. It's a hard sell to a jury stating you had to use force, when you are in a locked box with no broken or damaged entryway for somebody to cause harm. Why don't you know this?

@BasedAndRight_ @BadgedPatriot He didn't say the window was damaged. The window is considered a protective barrier. When she removed the protective barrier and sprayed him she then becomes the aggressor. I didn't say I agreed with it, learn your laws. It's wild as a US citizen you don't know this

Whether you agree with @ChudTheBuilder or not.Tennessee has laws in place against excessive bail. It can not be used as a punishment.The judge stated it was set at 1.25M due to all the people at the courthouse amongst other things.he shows for court so appearance isn't an issue

I am officially calling for the arrest, prosecution and jailing of Tennessee State Rep. Justin Pearson.

Under Tennessee law verbally threatening a state police officer is a serious CRIMINAL offense and interfering in the officers duties is also CRIMINAL.

Rep. Justin Pearson is doing BOTH in this despicable video.

These offenses carry heavy fines and jail time.

Tennessee Code: Assault on a Law Enforcement Officer § 39-13-116:

When the assault (including verbal threats causing fear) is committed against an officer performing their duties

Penalties:

11 months and 29 days in jail fines up to $2,500 with a mandatory minimum of 60 days in jail and a $10,000 fine, plus possible 1–6 years in prison.
