What an incredible night! 🎉 Yesterday, we celebrated our Santos Populares Happy Hour in true Portuguese style. With delicious sardines, mouth-watering pork belly, and lively pimba music, the festive spirit was high.

Our PhD student @torrejoNia was awarded a EMBO Grant to do part of her project abroad! Congratulations!!

[EVCA Twinning Project @EVCA_Twinning]

Our EVCA member, @torrejoNia, was awarded an @EMBO Scientific Exchange Grant that will support her three-month project at the Marseille Medical Genetics, @univAMU_Europe in France. She is diving into amazing research with the Systems Biomedicine team, led by Dr. @BaudotAnais.

Inês and Elizeth, are in Berlin for the 25th ESGLD Workshop and FOR2625 Lysosomes & Autophagy Symposium! Inês gave an oral presentation at the ESGLD, and both presented posters at the FOR2625. Grateful to the organizers for granting us a travel grant. #ESGLD2024 #FOR2625

Yesterday, on May 17th, during our happy hour, we hosted an exhilarating adventure with our Laboratory Escape Room. We had a blast with 8 teams and 32 players, all diving into the excitement and fun. 🎉

🍰✨ Our first Charity Cake Sale was a sweet success! ✨🍰

Thanks to everyone who contributed their delicious homemade cakes and joined us at the event. Together, we raised around 60 euros to purchase baby bath gels for “Banco do Bebé”.
