What occupations do higher functioning narcissists/psychopaths seek?
A role where they:
- have control.
- are seen as an expert so can’t be challenged.
- can get away with sadistic ‘toying’ of others emotions & minds.
- can lead a double life.
- can make extra $$ nefariously.
Many roles meet these criteria. Some that came out of my research included CEO’s, board directors, entrepreneurs, business owners, medical specialists, nurses, psychologists, judges, lawyers, law enforcement, religious leaders, academics, teachers, managers and others.
@davidabbottbris Very interested to know was this RA authorised and by which uni? Doesn’t seem to be a consensus accords unis about this & very much ‘with asking but not guaranteed’ type response & in no guidelines. Would help a lot
So grateful that disabled activists have launched a crowdfunder to send a copy of my new book, The Department, to every #Labour MP. They need to know the harm #DWP has caused because Labour reforms are coming. Please contribute (only if you can afford to)

Being denied the right care because your illness/symptoms are wrongly seen as psychological is devastating and happens all the time in healthcare.
For Maeve, someone with very severe #MEcfs, which is structurally neglected and misunderstood, it led to her death.
