Quick reminder that America isn't actually 250 years old. It was born on March 30, 2003 when legendary American patriots, Limp Bizkit, performed "Rollin'" for The Undertaker's entrance at WrestleMania XIX.
@romanhelmetguy As a lifelong Democrat, I couldn’t agree more! When will white men stop exploiting black women’s bodies! This is sick and we should all boycott this terrible white supremacist film
Ironically, calling an entire generation lazy instead of addressing real problems with cost of living, housing, and employment…IS LAZY. It’s tough even for people that work hard, save, and have good jobs.
The goal of every generation is to leave it better than you found it. That’s simply not happening. Even as a young person, the country I grew up in is becoming unrecognizable. It’s not complaining to want the same quality of life as our parents and grandparents.
I have yet to see democrats or republicans address this issue properly. Economically, they’re one and the same because they’re both controlled by elites and corporate interests. The party that actually starts listening to real everyday Americans first is the party of the future.
If you believe a foreign government can sail a hospital ship to the edge of US territorial waters, deliver a hundred babies to foreign moms, then promptly sail back to a foreign port, and that every one of those babies is American for life, you don’t believe in nationhood at all.
Imagine what goes on inside the mind of a creature that has the determination and aggressiveness to run through a plate glass barricade, yet lacks the skill, intelligence, or impulse control to legally obtain the $2 needed for the fare. Unfathomable stuff.
“Actually what’s so crazy about it is you are not the first from the animal kingdom to say that. Many animals are saying that, and you know quite frankly we won the animal vote bigly in the last election. As it turns out the animals are big Trump guys. It’s really fascinating”
People are dunking on her, but under the old patronage system, Republicans would hire Republican civil servants and Democrats would hire Democrats, but we wisely got rid of that system so that no matter who was elected President, the federal workforce would always be Democrats.
“Uncle Ben what happened??”
“Those god damn Jews in the Supreme Court betrayed America, Peter. It’s over.”
“But Uncle Ben, Roberts and Barrett aren’t Jewish, they’re Catholic, like us…”
“Oh fuck, Peter… oh fuckkkk….” *dies*
The idea that a pregnant woman from Guatemala can sprint across the US border, have the baby 30 minutes after arriving here, and the baby is magically a citizen of the US, is one of the most retarded and indefensible notions ever conceived
@NickKristof@elonmusk How much did you donate to AIDS work in Africa last year? You could have provided medication for $25/yr, and if you didn't do that with a significant portion of your income, by your logic, you are responsible for all of those deaths. Are you feeling guilty, Nick?
@NickKristof@elonmusk You are RICH. Your friends and readers are rich. Why don't you start shaming all of your rich friends and benefactors? That's because this isn't about "saving lives." You want the "non-profit" NGO complex of six-figure salaries to continue.
The paradox of Europe.
- no real growth for the past 15 years.
- some of the smartest euros move to America (brain drain)
- their Gross domestic product per person fell from 20% to 14%.
Yet, the top 50 most liveabale cities are in Europe. It's not even particularly close.
Massive improvements happening with quality of life including recently with bicycles, trams and walking replacing cars.
Europe possesses something culturally other places do not have.
This may shock the media to hear but for 99.999% of its history there was not a Haitian TPS diaspora in Springfield, Ohio. The Democrats illegally airlifted the Haitian migrants to Springfield in the months before President Trump took office.
See the look on the Wiener guy's face? That's the realization that his Frankenstein ain't going back in the grave.
Every communist revolutionary thinks they'll have a seat at the table of power...in reality, they're always the first against the wall.
Thanks to the warmth, hospitality, and generosity of Americans like the Alabama restaurant owner who fed this Irish couple dinner and refused payment, this World Cup is boosting America’s reputation around the world to levels I have never seen in my life.
