Murillo is not bad at all. But I seriously think what Arsenal is looking for is a calming presence at the back to complement Gabi. I don’t consider Murillo as one. He’s more a Licha than a Saliba.

🚨 Instead of settling for defenders like Ezri Konsa or Maxence Lacroix, I’d rather Arsenal make an attempt to sign Murillo from Nottingham Forest.

He’s Premier League proven, aggressive, composed on the ball, and has the profile to cover for William Saliba during his injury spell. It won’t be an easy deal, but if Arsenal can negotiate with Forest, I’d take Murillo over those two every day.

It’s going to be a very difficult transfer because Newcastle have sold Tonali and will not want to sell Bruno but if he pushes then the doors will open. £60-£65m is a perfect price for him.
