AgriFlux site 1: Grain sorghum–winter cover crop–cotton rotation (Lubbock, TX)
In 2024, we established our first #AgriFlux site in collaboration with Shelley Heinrich and Burt Heinrich on a 65-acre, pivot-irrigated field south of Lubbock, Texas.

Europe is ready to deliver on a powerful new agenda with India.
Today, the EU agreed to move forward with the signature of a new Security and Defence Partnership.
It will expand our cooperation in areas such as maritime security, counterterrorism and cyber-defence.
I look forward to signing it next week during the EU-India Summit in New Delhi.

We are building the measurement backbone needed to connect on-farm management to credible greenhouse gas (#GHG) accounting and model improvement through our #AgriFlux Network.
In collaboration with producers, our Center currently maintains 14 field instrumentation sites that quantify agroecosystem exchanges at high temporal resolution:
*CO2, water vapor, and energy fluxes every 30 minutes (#eddycovariance)
*Soil GHG fluxes (CO2, N2O, and CH4) every hour (automated automated chambers + trace gas analyzers)
