We seriously underestimate the importance of "home training"... Like seriously underestimate it.
The older I become, the more I'm baffled just how many things I considered "normal" are actually not.
You're privileged if you were raised right cuz omo!
Before this country can get better, some things need to disappear:
1. House agents/caretakers
2. NURTW
3. Lagos
4. APC & PDP
5. Real estate market
6. POS for cash withdrawal
7. Loan sharks (Opay & Palmpay)
8. Kẹkẹ, buses and okada
Meanwhile, OPay wrote off $113 million in loans in six months recently. Loans to ordinary Nigerians without fucking collateral, the kind of loans conventional Nigerian lenders would never tolerate. And OPay’s lending rates are actually comparable to prevailing Nigerian rates.
Complete fucking bozos. No need for another epistle. A lot of Nigerians are so intellectually bankrupt that these Chinese people should just let them find out what life looks like without the opportunities they take for granted. They should let y'all die for real. Many of you people are simply not worth the salvation.
me status update from people whose numbers I don't have saved???
I'm optimistic about AI, but when I see the people currently handling it like Mark, Elon, Trump and Sam Altman, I just lose all hope
I've not seen any company that ship "Slops" as much as Meta. Even before AI, Mark Zuckerberg was the slop king... And now with AI, it's being turbocharged...
Cuz tell me why WhatsApp is showing me "status" from groups I'm in?? That's how a few months back, they were showing me
I think most Nigerians overestimate themselves and their skillset. No thanks to social media, people go for interviews with unrealistic salary figures because “I am pricing my worth”
China, India, Philippines and Kenya are becoming global commercial powerhouses because they are leveraging on their low currency to dollar disparity to provide cheaper labour for high currency rate countries in the west. Thereby providing jobs for their people.
But Nigerians want to be paid same wage someone in UK, Europe or the Americas earn simply because “I know my worth”
My Chinese Partner was telling me yesterday there are places in China with average monthly pay of less than $250. India is less than $65. Same with Philipines and Kenya.
Nigeria has a minimum wage of 70,000 Naira which is around $50, international and local companies will price your skillset in your local currency starting from your minimum wage.
Many Nigerians are financially delusional for a people that is the poverty capital of the world with the highest out of school children and the most terrorised country in the world.
Thats how I interviewed a young lady for a part time admin role and she said her salary expectation is 1.5 million naira. For Admin ?? In Nigeria?
For same amount I can get a part time admin here in the UK 25 hours a week.m, and they would pray for me daily cos the job market now in UK is horrible. No jobs.
But a remote worker in Nigeria wants 1.5 million Naira to do a part time admin work.
Everyone wants to rich overnight.
You guys are not serious
Eggs aren’t even that high in protein compared to other protein sources for people to keep bringing them up when talking about making protein complicated. 100g egg is just 13g protein.
or breaks a country... And in that aspect, we're royally fucked.
NURTW is the biggest threat to this country's progress & guess who empowered them? Just guess
transportation system in Nigeria clicks in my head... It's absolutely unheard of.
And now fuel price has increased again... It's about to become even more ridiculous. It's crazy... It's absolutely crazy.
The painful part is that ease of transportation is literally what makes
to Ikeja??? And that is on a good day o!!!... 1000 from Tinubu square to Lawanson... Trip wey no reach 15 mins

transport companies would follow suit very soon... Only I didn't know it'd be this soon.
Just last week, Moove... A Nigerian company o!!!... Left Nigeria
Like it just makes no sense... I don't see how anyone thinks any of this is sustainable...
Imagine paying 1,500 from CMS
I have clamouring for trains since as far back as 2024.
I even did calculation on how much the country will save per week & that was based on fuel price then o!
Imagine how much we'll be saving now? 🥲
A few weeks ago when Uber exited Nigeria, I wrote a piece about how other
If I enter car in Moniya, Ibadan going to Akure, Ondo & another person enters car in Ajah, Lagos going to Berger, Lagos... I'll get to Akure before the person gets to Berger..
despite the fact I'll pass through pass Ibadan, Osun & Ekiti State & minor towns in Ondo before I
