Hi @FloEshalomi. 2nd reading Fri 24th Jan. We're in intertwined climate and nature crises, but there is a golden opportunity to make history and deliver the bold, science-led legislation we need. Will you add your support to the #CANBill?

@JW72334263 Fraudsters *not* being prosecuted because they are famous and demand special treatment, however, yes. Bad. Very much undermines the entire rule of law.
I am shocked to read that Boris Johnson does not believe that habitually dishonest politicians should be prosecuted for criminal offences of dishonesty.
When Donald Trump complains that the prosecutors, the judge, and the jury have treated him unfairly, do not believe him. I’ve been in court every day of this historic criminal trial of a former President. I spent over a decade as a criminal prosecutor in Manhattan. Let me be clear: Donald Trump received a fair trial.
Over the past six weeks, I’ve endeavored to bring you detailed analysis of the evidence and arguments at this trial. My conclusion: the prosecution presented a compelling case with strong witnesses corroborated by documentary evidence. The defense had no competing theory of the case, nor did it effectively raise reasonable doubt. As a result, I correctly predicted that the jury would return a guilty verdict on @TheBeatWithAri on Tuesday and I correctly predicted that the jury’s verdict would be returned no later than this Friday on @KatiePhang’s YouTube special yesterday.
The bottom line is that Donald Trump lost fair and square. He lost because the prosecutors outlawyered the defense team and, more importantly, he lost because he is guilty.
So Rishi Sunak just took a question from a hi-vis jacket-wearing man at a campaign event in a McVities warehouse.
It turns out the man is actually local Conservative councillor Ross Hills.
Hills just admitted to me to being asked to appear at the event

As much as I’m happy that no flights to Rwanda will take off…
As much as I’m happy that his flagship policy is now in the toilet
I find it absolutely galling that they spent £370m of our money (and the rest) on absolutely nothing.

Race scientists asking the hard questions: are large proportions of people in the Global South really intellectually impaired?
Answer: of course they are
Evidence? A conversation the race scientist had with a taxi driver in Ecuador 🤦♀️
Why is an official government account being used for @Conservatives propaganda?
@hmtreasury should NOT be saying
"Let's stick to the plan"
Tories - the snake oil merchants of the 21st Century?
Extraordinary that in discussion on Gaza on @bbclaurak just now Grant Shapps was asked nothing about restarting funding for UNRWA & nothing about UK Govt continuing to grant licenses for arms exports to Israel - how can UK complicity in war crimes be so easily ignored?
