DC’s brutalist architecture is great. It nicely pairs with the neoclassical style of the older buildings, and is a fitting form of modern monumentalism for the federal capital.
Dead Like Me (2003–2004) took something as heavy as death and turned it into this weird, darkly funny routine, reapers clocking in, collecting souls, George stuck in a job she never chose, and it got cut right when it was finding its rhythm.
