By working together with others in our network, we create a better world and experience true happiness, peace, and satisfaction. To me, this is the true essence of building a personal network. (3/3)
As an INTJ, why do I network with others?
To me, building a personal network is about creating a positive impact and making a difference in the world, while finding personal fulfillment in the process. (1/3)
@jlavett0831 Birds of a feather flock together. People tend to stay with others with similar culture, personality, language, … but skin color is unfortunately the easiest identification. As for why it’s white supremacy rather than other races, I think it has to do with power and history.
@CathyMarksKrpan Moreover, students learn in different ways and we should respect that. E.g. As an INTJ myself I could easily fall into deep thinking in class. Sometimes I just don’t want to be disturbed, while other times I could be very active in interactions I find meaningful.
@CathyMarksKrpan During my hybrid classes on MS Teams / Zoom, I would show the chat room on the screen. I ask my students to ask questions or respond to me by typing in the chat room. This promotes a lot of interaction. Of course they could also speak up if they prefer.
@DesmondWarren10 What’s more: I wrote those stuff for free, and yet the academic publishers charge my readers tens of USD for reading one article!? It simply doesn’t make sense.
@DesmondWarren10 Same in other fields too. I spent lots of time writing, only to find that very few people (if anyone other than the editors) would read my work. I’d rather be teaching.
Took my #MBTI test and turned out to be #INTJ-T (Turbulent Architect):
Mind: 96% introverted
Energy: 62% intuitive
Nature: 52% thinking
Tactics: 83% judging
Identity: 64% turbulent
How’s yours?
@Monique_NZ As an introvert but also a university teacher, I don’t really fear talking to people. I just don’t want to engage in conversations I don’t find meaningful, e.g., introducing myself.
