Catch your family and friends off guard with a one move instant kill. Or Jack's Gigaton Punch or King's Deadly Boomerang. ToD combos were a thing. Come on.

@zFiesty @XanozIchimonji The problem is, SFV and SF6 is designed to allow these modern (newer) FG players to skip over the basics and jump in to matches capable of winning. And because the mechanics are how they are designed, people are able to get away with being this bad at the game. Great neutral btw

@ArslanAsh95 Why do most pros main one fighting game over another? Say you for example: why not pick up SF6 and play it competitively in tournament? Choose the top tier character and win, right? I think mindset is sort of the same for any player, you play what generally feels right to you.

@TenTonnes95 @ArslanAsh95 Because in Tekken, unlike a lot of other fighting games currently mainstream right now, its not the character simply carrying the player through tournament, its the player playing the character. No insult to all the King players, but the other players are good too. King will win.

@Chris_Tatarian Speaking in short, characters should have bad matchups. If Gief had what he needed to overcome his bad matchups then archetypes like grapplers, zoners, etc… wouldn’t exist. In terms of balance for the longevity of the game, Ken is in a good spot.
