Drop Site contributor Abubaker Abed reports that Israeli shelling and bombardments have intensified in Deir al-Balah and central Gaza, with tanks advancing further east and heavily shelling the area ahead of them. “The worst hour we’ve lived in our lives,” he said, describing the presence of Israeli drones and jets overhead. Abed also reports that Israeli naval vessels are shelling Deir al-Balah’s seashores, where many families are still sheltering. Rafah’s Al-Mawasi is also under bombardment.

“I can’t stop hearing airstrikes. I can’t stop hearing the shells,” he tells Drop Site. “It’s horrifying and unbearable. It’s absolutely unbearable.”
