@DangerBrooks@NYMag In short, yes, this would be an obvious euphemism to explore (rather than to ignore) alongside the more ambiguous “pizza” when reporting on a network in which sexual violence was both normalized and regularly discussed using juvenile innuendo. Hiding in plain sight.
And then you're in the orange Fatz
You go out at night eatin' cats
You eat calicos, tabbies too
Si-a-mese and big Maine Coones
And you don't stop, you keep on eatin' cats
Then, when there's no more cats you go out at night
And eat up dogs that the people greet.

People who never looked into a light microscope shouldn’t try to interpret pictures from one.
And then we get to listen to the “pretty” people who have been stripped of their ability to live off their looks complain interminably about masking during a pandemic (and turn to OnlyFans, apparently).
In continental Europe and Asia it’s not uncommon to see attractive people working ordinary service jobs—airport staff, drivers, security guards, etc. Seems like in the US (and UK) hot people quickly figure out how to capitalize on their looks or maybe there is a greater economic premium for beauty. Side effect is the US has the ugliest airport staff etc. in the developed world.

@MyVenusDoomX3@peterkrause12 @MacIntyre2023 @JehanneIDubrow You’re not wrong, but throwing sanctimonious shade after he humbly apologized and expressed bewilderment at the ugly truth is a great (reflexive) way to alienate a newly converted ally.
@daveweigel Correlli’s Mandolin by Louis de Bernieres. His wit and narrative layers are as hard to convert to film as Marquez and it shows in the dreadful result.
I'm curious to see if repeat covid infections affect the average age of professional sports people.
Interesting to see the youngest team in the Premier League at the top of the league table too.
