Agreed @RobGutmann - based on his contributions to LFC, he is a club legend.
I think people choose to casually cast aside just how good he was for us, because of everything that happened post-LFC, including the move to United!

I think he absolutely is. His contribution on the pitch was incredible. The best young talent I’ve ever seen at LFC. Won the ballon d’or. Contributed to many trophy wins. Tainted by his career post LFC ? A bit. But same for Torres, Suarez and others. Judged on quality of performance alone, he is clearly one of the greatest LFC forwards of all time.

No-one could have predicted what he has gone on to do. Unreal.

Great to have him, MacAllister, Gravenburch and Jones competing for 3x spaces and pushing each other to perform. That’s without throwing Elliott in to the mix as well. #LFC
