🚨 JUST NOW: Sen. John Kennedy files major proposals on the Senate floor to do the following under RECONCILIATION, 50+1 votes

- Require citizenship to vote
- Require voter ID
- Election DAY only, not election month
- BLOCK PAY FOR SENATORS during a SHUTDOWN
- BLOCK Democrats from shutting down the government before the midterms
- Let Americans buy insurance across state lines
- Abolish federal income taxes for poll workers

And other proposals related to the Island of Diego Garcia and cost of living

Because of the SENATE PARLIAMENTARIAN, none of this is guaranteed to make it through, which is why Mike Lee never pushed reconciliation for SAVE America

Either way, the GOP ABSOLUTELY should ram through any and all policies we can related to spending during this reconciliation bill, especially on blocking government shutdowns 🔥
