Le match de Matias Galarza :
- 13 pertes de balle
- Une manchette sur Mbappé
- Une manchette sur Kounde
- Une auto-gifle pour simuler une agression de Olise
- Des larmes bien salées en conférence de presse
Galarza literally threw an off-the-ball elbow straight into Koundé’s face during a sprint, blatant red card for violent conduct, completely ignored.
Then Galarza fake dives & the ref gives Olise a yellow card?
Paraguay committed 18 fouls with ZERO cards!
We all knew Paraguay would resort to dirty tactics. That came as no surprise. What is surprising is that @FIFAWorldCup appointed a referee who was completely incapable of managing that kind of game.
Ilgiz Tantashev delivered an absolutely disgraceful performance: 3 yellow cards for France, and not a single one for the dirtiest team in the tournament.
It’s simply unbelievable. A referee who performs like that has no business officiating at a World Cup.
#FRAPAR
Ce sombre individu de Ilgiz Tantashev ne doit plus jamais arbitrer le moindre match de football.
C’est vraiment à se demander comment il a pu arriver sur un 1/8ème de Coupe du Monde.
Minable.
Not one for publicly criticising referees but Ilgiz Tantashev has been absolutely shocking tonight in this France vs Paraguay game.
The same man that refereed our game vs Morocco and was shocking that day too.
Not good enough for the biggest stage.
Ilgiz Tantashev.
Worst officiating display of the world cup so far, absolutely no control of the game, Paraguay reaching the full 90 minutes with no bookings from 13 fouls is unforgivable
🚨 Luis Enrique wowed on how Manchester United broke Arsenal's low block:
🗣️ Henry:
“You kept pressing and pressing. Did it ever feel like Arsenal weren't going to concede?”
🗣️ Luis Enrique:
“We know Arsenal are one of the most organized teams in Europe. When they decide to defend deep, it becomes very difficult to create chances. Before this match, we studied Manchester United's 3-2 win against Arsenal because we wanted to understand what problems they created.
What we saw was a team brave enough to attack the spaces available and players with the quality to punish mistakes. The goals from Dorgu and Cunha showed that one moment of quality can completely change a game. So when Arsenal scored first against us, we remained calm because we had already seen an example of a team recovering from that situation.
That is why I think Manchester United will be very dangerous next season. If you can find solutions against a team as organized as Arsenal, you can compete against anybody.”
🚨 Khvicha Kvaratskhelia on his future after winning back-to-back Champions League titles:
🗣️ “Right now I’m enjoying the moment because winning the Champions League back-to-back is something every player dreams about.
But I also have dreams for the future.
One day, I would love to play in England.
The Premier League is one of the biggest challenges in football and every top player wants to test himself there at some point.
When you talk about English football, you have to talk about Manchester United.
It is a club built by legends.
From the history, the atmosphere, the supporters and the players who have worn that shirt, it is one of the biggest institutions in world football.
I’m not saying anything will happen tomorrow, but as a footballer you always respect clubs of that size.
If the right time ever comes and a club like Manchester United calls, of course I would listen.
For now, my focus is on winning more trophies and becoming a better player.
But in football, you never know what the future holds.”

Well that's a penalty that not only defies physics but unnatural hand must be driven by the player's OWN movement IFAB 12. It's literally driven by the movement of the Celtic player.
Another classic SFA screw up.
Glasgow is the home of the SFA in so many ways.
🗣️ Former PGMOL referee Mike Dean on Bruno being struck in the face:
“There’s NOT a lot of force in it, but I don’t understand why the player would run back and put his arm in and just put himself at risk.
“I’m not sure what’s happening — they’ve obviously had a look at it; they’re not doing anything, they’ve just had a chat with Fernandes and check complete. You run the risk with VAR; that could have gone either way.”
Merson: “They didn’t even book him, Mike.”
Dean: “Well, it’s May, isn’t it?”
Lead presenter Simon Thomas: “What? It might be May for you, but the referee’s still got a job to do, hasn’t he?”
