Can bicycles save the world? An excellent question to ask on #WorldBicycleDay2022. Cycling enthusiasts I've met seem to think #bikingislife (my partner included), but this team of researchers calls for cautious optimism.

@PhDVoice @PostdocVoice Responsiveness. My supervisor has unheard-of response times, and I know she is busy with her own work and care responsibilities. I've never had to follow up to get something signed or reviewed and it really eases my stress.

@DrTobiasJung Could definitely be a slippery slope to colonial, racist, practices (a la Carnegie) and upholds philanthro-capitalistic values.

I've worked on the charity side, trying to provide "evidence" to grantors when our work just wasn't easily quantifiable. It never made sense.
