Secwépemc leader George Manuel is being honoured with a Canada Post stamp. I acted as a historical consultant on this project, and I'm glad to see the stamp be unveiled today in North Vancouver among Manuel's family and friends: https://t.co/jPVLBEW7kk
The late Grand Chief George Manuel of the Neskonlith Indian Band is the latest to be featured on a Canada Post stamp.
He became president of the National Indian Brotherhood in 1970, now known as the Assembly of First Nations.
Our newest stamp celebrates the 100th anniversary of the official adoption of the poppy as a symbol of remembrance in Canada. This stamp issue coincides with the launch of @RoyalCdnLegion’s 2021 National Poppy Campaign. Available now: https://t.co/LKdBz6Vkoz
I started this page in February as stamp collecting has been a constant in my life for as long as I can remember. It really helps with my recovery, and being able to share this hobby with all of you is just the best. So, thank you to each and every one of you. ❤
@trajanpublisher I thought a commemorative issue we designed in 2010 honouring the 100th Anniversary of the Canadian Navy seemed appropriate. Happy birthday #FredArsenault. Birthday wishes are on the way! 🎂 🎉
Toronto resident Fred Arsenault, a 99-year-old Second World War veteran, is asking for 100 birthday cards for his 100th birthday on March 6.
It's an excellent opportunity for stamp collectors and postal historians to send Fred a philatelic bday card.

I'm wanting to develop the online Philatelic community from here in sleepy Cambridgeshire. So please share this tweet and comment below, and I will pick and contact 5 random tweeters and send them some stamps. Win Win. #stampcollecting#philately#stamps#timbre#ilovestamps
