@WaddleandSilvy you’re absolutely correct about role the manager plays. All you have to do is listen to the lovable reunion every week and hear all those players say what Joe Maddon meant to the team and how they never would have won if it wasn’t for how he managed the personalities.
@scullytaco@Cernovich I am sure you are right and people on X or wherever are but I’m specifically talking about the president and others in “power”. We also know from the demographics of this it’s only boomers who don’t like Massie and nobody on cable news is having the conversation.
@WaddleandSilvy there’s also incredible athelets and personalities in professional wrestling. Perhaps, like wrestling, there’s a group that doesn’t mind it’s fake and enjoys the manufactured drama.
Also, you could argue deciding when to put your finger on the lottery scale is as simple as when a market like Chicago starts to lose viewers and attendance. What was the need to help the bulls all the years they sucked ass but we’re still selling out? You’d Direct assets to grow other markets.
@WaddleandSilvy when I was your sons age @TWaddle87 was one of my heros. 30 years later he’s managed to maintain a fan base the same age by talking about dongs and poop stories 4 hours a day and I think that’s beautiful.
@AnnieJacobsen Is it ever frustrating for you @AnnieJacobsen when people like Hall Puthoff and or Havana syndrome are in the news now and you wrote about the topics so long ago now?
Agree very odd. And perhaps if that were the only death it could still be explained away. But all of that in addition to 9 or 10 other people dying is what makes it impossible to just dismiss as not suspicious. At a certain point a conspiracy does have to be considered as the simplest explanation.
@WaddleandSilvy isn’t putting PCA on Javy watch the comparison? Incredible defense and at times unstoppable hitter but can’t last off the slider which could be his downfall?
What about a Jeff Garcia @WaddleandSilvy as a floor? Was an all pro a few times. Had some really great years. That’s a great career and certainly better than any QB the Bears have had.
