@tedtodorov Funny, it used to say in response “Kayquay radio“ and I’d always got a chuckle out of Siri attempting to pronounce KQED. Very recently it started saying K-Q-È-D correctly. Nice little upgrade!
Hey Siri, play NPR used to play the full NPR program on my HomePod. Hey Siri what’s the news? used to play a quick NPR news summary. Now both just play the summary, wondering if there’s a work around to get the full program back?
@daringfireball Bluster is a big component. Then again he needs it, since he’s usually up against large established industries. Baking., cars, aerospace and now social media. He thrives on parachuting in, and in short order proclaiming he knows more about x than anyone. That’s the thrill.
@kocienda Why is this crazy? I feel for the search teams on every platform (other than the obvious giant player). It’s a difficult situation to be in. You’re constantly being compared to a multi-gazillion dollar, multi-million person-hour, huge vast infrastructure set of expectations.
This little game I play with the feds and the state every year where they’re obviously thinking of a number, and I try to hit that number as closely as possible to avoid penalties and fees … I could do without that whole guessing game part.
The most interesting part of Apple’s new lineup, is that you can easily do what I like to call, peering into the future with money. It’s very likely that the Studio Mac, with the M1 Ultra will behave very much like an iPhone in about 4 to 5 years. That’s really useful.
