It’s good news for @UKLabour Chris. You’ve got time to develop and articulate an alternative vision/ set of policies for the U.K. - more than ‘not being the Tories’, though that’s not a bad start.
If @RishiSunak becomes PM without a single interview or a smidgin of scrutiny, let alone a public vote, the British electoral system will look no more democratic than a banana republic. He will have no mandate. And that is disgraceful.
Two counterfactuals for you in preparation for tomorrow’s show:
1.) Boris Johnson published the pro- Remain column he had already written.
2.) Nigel Farage had always been treated by the British media like the ignorant, racist tool he so clearly is.
How would the U.K. look now?
💥Boris Johnson confirms he *won’t* stand for leader.
He says there was “very good chance” he could’ve won.
“But in course of last days I have sadly come to conclusion that this would not be the right thing to do. You can’t govern effectively unless you have a united party”.
The ‘biggest comeback since Lazarus’ is off - we’ll never know if Johnson really had the numbers…says it’s not the time, because he couldn’t unite the party
NEW. *The Conservative Party falls to the lowest level of support in British polling history*
Labour 53%
Conservatives 14%
Lib Dems 11%

I am so with you. Horror, disgust, distress at the mere thought. A lying narcissist who has already been rumbled cannot be allowed to further destroy our futures.
@campbellclaret You are so right on so many fronts but I have yet to hear a coherent plan from Labour. Maybe they think that silence is the best policy and the Tories will defeat themselves but the country deserves an opposition with vision and courage.
Agreed David. What the country is crying out for is you and your party to put forward a compelling plan and stop shirking on issues like brexit. Come on! Be brave.
Ofgem: Energy bills for a typical household will rise to £3,549 a year.
The Prime Minister: Buy a new kettle to save £10 a year.
What a shower of out of touch gibberish. The @Conservatives need to go.
Rail travel (vs car) can reduce carbon emissions by two-thirds, or up to 80% on medium length distances.
If you're taking the train as a climate choice, this project will create sustainable UK forestry as close as possible to each of our UK tour venues:

In about 20 years (if there is anyone sane left in academia by then), someone will work out just how much damage was done by all the crazy campaigns of character assassination that followed the Great Awokening. The case described here is only one of many: https://t.co/wv2VGdUJ0N
When your "education" limits your imagination it's called indoctrination. Those who cannot think for themselves are truly lost.
Education should be a rewarding experience which allows you to think, imagine, question, doubt and solve problems. 🧠
