Human trafficking is a human rights violation that can affect anyone. Millions remain trapped in exploitation, and many cases go unreported.
Awareness saves lives. Learn the facts. Share the truth. Stand against trafficking.

Technology connects us—but it also gives traffickers new ways to deceive.
Fake jobs, scholarships, and travel offers can become pathways to exploitation.
This #WorldDayAgainstTraffickingInPersons, SCORP NMOs from 🇨🇲🇷🇼🇧🇮🇰🇪🇺🇬 unite to raise awareness and fight human trafficking.
❤️ A Tiny Heart. A Big Victory.
Yesterday, an 11-day-old baby boy was given a second chance at life after undergoing a life-saving heart procedure.
Born with a critical narrowing of one of the heart valves, the baby's heart was struggling to pump enough blood to the lungs. Without urgent treatment, this condition could have led to severe heart failure, dangerously low oxygen levels, and even death.
In a remarkable display of teamwork, our Cardiac Team, together with visiting pediatric interventional cardiologist Dr. Sagi Assa and our local specialists, successfully performed a balloon pulmonary valvuloplasty. This minimally invasive procedure opened the narrowed heart valve without the need for open-heart surgery.
Demonstrating an extraordinary commitment to patient care and international collaboration, Dr. Assa travelled from Israel specifically to support the procedure, worked side by side with our local cardiac specialists, and returned home the very same day after the successful intervention. His visit reflects a longstanding partnership focused not only on saving lives but also on strengthening Rwanda's capacity for advanced pediatric cardiac care through the training and mentorship of local specialists.
The procedure immediately restored healthy blood flow to the lungs, allowing this little fighter to grow with a stronger, healthier heart. The baby is currently stable in the Intensive Care Unit and is expected to continue recovering well.
This success is about more than saving one life. It reflects our commitment to providing world-class specialized cardiac care in Rwanda while building local expertise. Dr. Assa has also been instrumental in training and mentoring our cardiac specialists, helping strengthen the country's capacity to care for children born with complex heart conditions.
At King Faisal Hospital Rwanda, every successful procedure represents hope for patients and families, and another step toward making advanced healthcare more accessible close to home.
❤️ Every heartbeat matters. Every child deserves the chance to thrive.

Long weekend survival tip:
1.Keep the friend who says “Let’s work out”
2.Question the one who keeps testing your liver with “Just 1 more drink”
Choose friends who help you make healthy choices
