@helenniebear So cute!! Can I ask what brand you got? And are they really waterproof? I had to buy some for my cattle dog and got ones off Amazon, cute bone. After about a month of washing, they get wet all the way through to the outside. I need to invest in some good ones now I think.

@defactosnoopy @LolaPatolla Tbh I think they would rather I leave them alone for a bit, I have been a bit in their face trying to find out their honest opinion of her quality of life. They gave me some horse neck gauze to try, really need to have a play with that too. 🙂

@wonderbeagmurph @LolaPatolla Thanks. She’s already beaten cancer twice, has spondylosis and now this. No one ever died from a leaky bladder, so she isn’t going to either. I just don’t feel like I have the right to end her because this is inconvenient? People think I’m mad but onwards and upwards!

I am grateful to @rharris334 and @smh for highlighting an issue that goes beyond a single competition.

Ukrainian teenagers, many of whom have lived through missile attacks, air raid sirens and the loss of classmates and loved ones, should not be forced to compete alongside a state-approved Russian delegation as though Russia’s war of aggression does not exist.

Australia has consistently recognised Russia as a malicious cyber actor, imposed extensive sanctions, and stood firmly with Ukraine. International educational events should reflect those same values of responsibility, solidarity and respect for the rules-based international order.

Our young people deserve not only opportunities to excel, but also the care, dignity and support that every child should expect.
