@therealleslamb0 What's disgusting is that you imply that they invested in your $25MM round when, in reality, their "participation" results from restructuring equity from another failed company.
@jj3ib@tackettzane@cobie Yeah - problem with rehabilitation under a token model is that you would need new, untainted leadership, a comprehensive review of EVERYTHING, buy-in from your largest creditors, and a bunch of working capital. Possible - but seems kinda unlikely atm
@tackettzane In principle, a "roll your own restructuring" via some sort of token model is WAY preferable to bankruptcy court, but only if your token model effectively mimics what would otherwise be a likely outcome in court - Bitfinex was quite simple compared to FTX/Alemda.
@Galois_Capital@lawmaster Yes, I was ultimately wrong, but at the time of the comment, there was no consensus on a rollback and my view was shared by many. Once a detailed plan emerged and consensus was achieved, it worked out, but not without creating ETC in which much ETH was lost due to replay issues.
I think there's an argument to be made that the anti-nuclear power movement, has done more to contribute to climate change, by removing the most viable alternative to fossil fuels, than the coal, gas and oil lobby combined.
