Fell over last night while running home. I'm mostly okay, but for a couple of days I'll be choosing between my "wear trousers" ability and my "bend knee" ability.
Student loans company has lost over £1000 of repayments I made last year (everything from April in my old job). I called them up and now I need to send them a letter with copies of all my payslips. Grrah.
...suddenly hoping none of those payslips got lost anywhere.
Book of Mormon review:
From memory, Team America was funny and it had decent music. But what made it so great was that at the same time as being a parody of action films, it was also just legitimately good as an action film.

I have France and Croatia in the office sweepstakes. This puts me in an awkward position. I'm torn between my patriotic desire to see the football come home to England, and my personal desire to see the prize hamper come home with me.

(Rough summary: the films are overtly about how the old republic got subverted into the evil empire, but subtextually about how the old republic was never good.)
Truman Show moment: journey home was delayed by traffic, roadworks, men with guns, barriers sending me round in a loop, and a truck reversing round a corner. What did the director not want me to see?
I don't know much about dog breeds, but I do have strong opinions about dog breed names.
One strong opinion about dog breed names.
Labradoodle is the best dog breed name. It's not even technically a dog breed and it still wins hands down.
