Important to remember ‘distressed reactions “ in #dementia care are often a result of an ‘unmet need’, could be pain, anxiety or fear. Wonderful to see how #music supported a patient’s mobility, singing Elvis throughout , providing #happy faces all around the ward 😊❤️🎶

SmartSafe bags are on every ward and should be used to store all patients' valuables.

The wristband should be attached to the Patient to ensure valuables are transferred with the patient.

The bag number should be recorded on EPR and the bag should be in stored in the safe.
