New York! I am thrilled to announce the first hometown signing of my book, American Mirror, this Tuesday, January 18th, from 6-8pm at Mast Books in the East Village. There will be copies of the book on hand and available for purchase. I look forward to seeing all of you!
Finally after all that waiting a new favorite arrived to the collection: @philip_nyc‘s “American mirror“ published by @aperturefnd
❤️ so impressed ever since I saw the work, man!
In almost every way, Putin seems to have achieved the opposite of what he ostensibly wanted. Instead of pushing the US out of Europe, there are more American troops back on the continent. Instead of driving a wedge into the West, he has unified it. (1)
My latest for @NYTmag on the men and women of the Capitol Police who, on Jan 6th, were attacked by thousands of violent Trump supporters in attempt to overturn the election results. For many of the officers, significant injuries and psychological disorders remain.
On Dec 11, I'll be discussing and signing copies of my book, American Mirror, at Hauser & Wirth in Los Angeles with the one and only Jamie Lee Curtis, who in addition to acting, has been an avid photographer and collector for many years. Register below!

I’ve had the privilege of photographing three inaugurations but the swearing in of our 46th president was a real honor and represented the beginning of a new chapter in our country. Photographed for @TIME
So much respect to the photojournalists quite literally risking their lives to bring us images of what is happening in the Capitol. Working under intense pressure, being a potential target of this mob, and still delivering us the news is incredible and appreciated.
I'm honored to be included in @nytimes 2020 Year in Pictures alongside so many of my inspiring colleagues who tirelessly and beautifully chronicled this heartbreaking moment in history.

This weekend’s @NYTmag cover. “Democracy By Mail: More Americans cast absentee ballots this year than ever before. We followed the process from start to finish.”

I am so incredibly honored to have my work featured in the entirety of this year's @ZEITmagazin photography issue. The work captures the American experiment during the last years of Donald Trump’s presidency. It has become an evolving portrait of American volatility.
