The club is deeply saddened by the sad passing of our member and team mate Evan Jones. On and off the pitch, Evan's courage, determination, and humility transcended his years, showing a spirit that unites our community at this sad time. The club extends its condolences to Deirdre

Club bar is OPEN tonight despite a heafty proportion of our regular bar staff / customers being away in *undisclosed* location for the weekend.

We’ll be open at the slightly later time of 9 after the senior match in the pitch due to staffing issues 🙌🏻🕺🏻

[St Martin's @StMartinsGAA]

Just under 24 hours to go until a big crowd is expected in the club bar for #teamevan , a fantastic night in store.

See you there 🕺🏻

For anyone on the fence about tonight, throw a bit of weight in behind a few pints.

** DARTS WINNERS **
Philip ‘Slashhook’ Dempsey and Kyle ‘Untapped Potential’ Firman take home the darts this week.
They decide to take the bar credit as prize, so don’t telly Jenny or Jackie if anyone is talking to them that they refused @PettittsSuperV vouchers. #hailhail

*** BAR OPEN ***

Good news folks, club bar is OPEN from 6.30pm this evening for the ground football match, Argentina V Mexico. We are told there’s a lad who’s handy enough plays for the Argentinas.

Darts, pints & also LIVE MUSIC.
All the makings of a classic - cmon down 🍻 🎵

Just heard The 2 Johnnies clip now. These things were sent in by other people, who are actually driving around in cars with those stickers. They just read them out, on their private podcast. All the shite RTE have produced over the past 2 years & this is what they condemn 🤦‍♀️

Feels like Groundhog Day.

Nphet’s proposals -

• Close pubs/restaurants early
• Shut nightclubs
• Only 3 households can meet
• Reduced capacity at indoor events
• 50% public transport

What was the point in the vaccines if we are going to have these restrictions?

[Oliver Callan @olivercallan]

Most cases are in schoolkids, so naturally NPHET recommends more restrictions on bars and restaurants. The real question is; are our 5 to 11 year olds doing far too many brunches, prinks and tasting menus?

The Saw Doctors need a serious reappraisal. Incredible songwriting

Sad to see The Long Mile pass. Fabulous horse and a favourite around the yard. No doubt one of a kind. #GrandNational2021

Mad how the rich get richer and the small business goes out of business.... I’m closed as deemed none essential yet Lidl can happily sell balls and sliotars...?! @KeithyWalsh @PaulTreyvaud @MurphyJohne @LeoVaradkar #NotRight #SadTimes #SmallBusiness #Fairness

5 or 10km? What is the difference? Who cares? Underage sport has to happen, what harm contact? It doesn’t seem to be hampering international rugby players? Imagine golfing with a family member in a 100 acre field!! Who is running this country?? Who is challenging this rubbish??
