"It's our belief that we need greater coordination behind a single entity that's responsible for careers advice and guidance." @philiplefeuvre outlines the changes needed for CEIAG at today’s Education Committee inquiry.
Today @CForLearning have launched a paper on the impacts of the cost-of-living crisis on different parts of the post-16 education system. @AoCDavidH says that without more funding very soon, people will be falling through the cracks.

Today is the funeral of former St Lawrence Constable Iris Le Feuvre. I am sure it will be a fitting tribute to a life of dedicated public service. The Jersey flag over the Government office is at half-mast in tribute to a great Jersey woman. Thinking of Iris’s family & friends.
Students at FE Colleges and sixth forms across the country will be waking to the results from their A Level BTEC, T Level and other L 3 qualifications.
They have faced huge adversity and shown great resilience.
I’m in #Walsall at @Walsall_College with @NCFE meeting TL students.
Constable Iris Le Feuvre was Committee President when I became the @JEPnews Education Correspondent many years ago.
She was a strong role model: Knew what she wanted to achieve - and never stopped fighting for it.
Heartfelt condolences to her family #Iris#JerseyCI
I was very sad to hear of the passing of Iris Le Feuvre MBE. The first female Connétable and dedicated President of the Education Committee, her legacy is shown in the generation of women she inspired to stand for election & take leadership roles in Jersey. A great public servant
Three things crucial for T Levels: 1. Investment in Infrastructure, both facilities and educators. 2. Creative and flexible approach to work placements. 3. Employer-backed, sector specific campaigns which speak to the whole range of educational options. @CommonsEd@NCFEDavid
It's Thursday - which means it is #ThinkFurther publication day! Considering the massive focus on LSIPs, today's piece from @AndyWWestwood and @FrancisAlun is essential reading @AoC_info@NCFE https://t.co/hElbl23A21

This isn't a good look for the HE sector 🤦♀️ - T levels are probably the most 'academic' of available vocational Level 3 quals. UK universities need to get properly on board with the government's skills agenda - it just makes sense
