Over the past few days I participated at various sessions from the #sdgweekend, high level and ministerial events during the #SDGSummit #UNGA2023. My advocacy and engagements on the sideline remains attaining the #SDG4 (Quality Education) and #SDG5 (Gender Equality). This is because, both goals are very critical to development in our societies and nation at large.

To ensure that these issues are tackled wholistically, I focused on bilateral engagements with governors from Nigeria, several high level officials and decision makers discussing recommendations and explore avenues for collaboration in delivering our mandates.
We must ensure all children have access to free basic and quality education for upto 12years. While agreeing for the issues to affect all children, the girl-child is even the most vulnerable and more out of school, that must be addressed to harness the full potential of development.

We will work to complement and support the government of Nigeria both at Federal and State level to get it right with education and equal opportunity.
