Comer has been treating MAGA like idiots. He doesn’t want answers. He doesn’t want justice. He doesn’t care about the victims — who he won’t allow to testify. He finally said out loud what he really wants: Bill & Hillary in prison. For what? For being named Clinton.

BUT THATS NOT COMER’S REAL PROBLEM.

His REAL problem is that he LIED on camera. Never a smart thing to do — especially when the lie is comically provable. Here’s what Comer said on TV last night:

Why did the Republicans subpoena Hillary Clinton you ask?

Here’s why, and it’s not because of Epstein.

@RepJamesComer himself chose to ask XAG Bill Barr about Hillary, one of only 2x she comes up in 129 pages of a transcribed sworn deposition : TRUMP & RUSSIA.

He subpoenaed 8 people not named Clinton. He then told 7 of those 8, Never mind, don’t bother coming in.

Comer doesn’t care about Epstein or his crimes or his victims. If he cared he’d call a hundred witnesses. Not 10. Not the Right’s favorite political piñatas. He’d let victims testify. He’d depose Trump.

And if he cared, it wouldn’t take an act of the ENTIRE Congress to FORCE the TRUMP’s Justice Department to provide the documents MAGA demands. To say no to MAGA, you gotta wonder what he’s scared of.

Even if the Senate passes this (big if), even if Trump signs it (HUGE if), HIS Attorney General will ignore it. Don’t forget, this action by the ENTIRE Congress is only necessary because PAM Bondi hasn’t provided them to a request Congress already made.

My bet is, we’ll never see them.
