@GarryLavin Thanks Gary, really appreciated. I’ve learned a lot through recent drawings. Not least to keep on keeping on when I’m not sure of direction. You cannot solve drawings by thinking alone, you’ve got to get to work even if it means ripping some stuff up. Thanks again, Philip.

@RosieScribblah Yes, rejection slips at a of honour aren’t they? I was reading a biography of Lowery. He hardly made money from art until quite late in life - the expense of applications posting & retrieving works were too much for him. And of course he was neglected by art establishment. 😠

@Hillcityy_ @NoContextHumans I hope you never have to go through severe depression, it’s like a living hell. I feel a bit bad about dismissing this visual and I think the picture is reasonable for mild depression. Churchill used to refer to it as the black dog.

@Hillcityy_ @NoContextHumans Nope. Thank you for your honesty. There are different types of depression. From sustained lethargy to believing that you are dead inside and your lungs have turned to dust, and your heart is being continually dragged down by invisible hands. It’s foul. And then some.
