Clubs not used to playing in Europe do tend to struggle in the League. Look back a few months and Palace fans were so worried about their League position, they wanted Glasner out. They are getting their wish, but probably regret it now...

I've said to my neighbour (a Leeds fan), I reckon at least one of the 4 Europa/Conference League clubs could be in the relegation fight next season. Most likely to be in the bottom 3 next May? Probably Sunderland.

@stonojnr @Benno1uk I think I got the impression his agent was trying to use our interest to attract other offers. Maybe I'm getting mixed up with someone else, but I know I was surprised when we renewed our interest.

@TheCruncher76 I think we should also be going for a couple of players with a lot of Premier League experience, even if there is a risk that they can't play every game. The likes of Seamus Coleman perhaps?
Would have loved to get Tyrone Mings back, if his contract hadn't got another year on it

@TheCruncher76 @SargetheSaint We could argue that, without the spying, we might have won at Southampton and saved ourselves the anxiety of the last day...
However, winning, and going up, at home, isn't a bad way to do it!
Was a cracking game at St. Mary's to be fair.

@TheCruncher76 As I understood it, number of players, and staff, across both squads, plus partners, meant more limited spaces available. Those were offered to those who bought (assume tables rather than individual tickets) last year, and sold out.

@danieloverett_ He doesn't need to as has already played this season. When we did this in 23 and 24, it was so they qualified for a medal having sat on the bench all season.

@TheCruncher76 Good point, I only heard a date mentioned in connection with corporate tables being available several weeks ago, with tickets supposedly available later. Maybe, given the apparent spare capacity in hospitality through the season, there was an equivalent drop in interest.
