Great to have @seagullsspain featured in @OfficialBHAFC programme last week. If you’re a #Brighton supporter in southern Catalonia (Tarragona-Ebro-Tortosa), hit me up 😎
@cezthesocialist It’s a tiny rock in the middle of nowhere with a few 1000 people on it half of which are only there to defend the other half. Who cares who owns it? It’s just a tool for leaders in the UK and Argentina to deflect from their own abject uselessness.

'The footballers who fought Franco'
To mark the 90th anniversary of the start of the Spanish Civil War I've written about the Sporting Battalion, made up of amateur and international footballers, who defended Madrid from Franco's advances.

Just to be clear, then. FIFA:
1) can't possibly intervene when Iran are forced to move, a referee is denied a visa, or fans are barred from the USA
2) can absolutely intervene when a decision goes against the USA that Donald Trump doesn't like
Smashing. All know where we stand
@chriswardmp@Keir_Starmer@MikeTappTweets It’s not the effect of politics on politicians that’s brutal, Starmer will be fine. Maybe though have a little thought for his victims? Because what is brutal is the effect of his policies on pensioners, the disabled, minorities, migrants and Palestinians.
@peterkyle Starmer inherited a country where nothing worked & everything cost too much, and government racism & cruelty were commonplace. He’s left it in the same state.
You’re right, his only achievement was making Labour a safe space for people who are happy to be complicit in genocide
@RogersHistory It was a loveless landslide, he got less votes than Corbyn. He inherited a country where nothing worked & everything cost too much, & government racism & cruelty were commonplace. He leaves it in the same state.
Political sociologists will need to study how Keir Starmer—a man who echoed Rivers of Blood, supplied military intelligence to a genocide, assaulted civil liberties, demonised migrants, bankrupted universities, and let Palantir into the NHS—is still seen as "a decent man."
@fellowcreative Paul Graham is certainly one of those “careless people” responsible for taking tech to the empathy free zone it now largely inhabits. These days we are better off taking our cues from Cory Doctorow and Sarah Wynn-Williams.
Despite the giddy excitement of the mainstream political commiteriat, this is another loveless win for Labour. Bit tiring having to vote for these limpid folks to keep the right out, only for them to continue with policies that gave rise to the right in the first place.
Question: Do you think Andy Burnham would make a better Prime Minister than Keir Starmer?
